Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park

Tusker House is a buffet-style restaurant located inside the Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park where you get to meet Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy all decked out in their Safari gear! The buffet area of the restaurant is designed to look like an open-air eatery and there was no detail left behind. It's absolutely beautiful and feels incredibly authentic!

For the breakfast buffet, you'll find traditional items including Mickey waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, fruits, pastries, etc. Throughout the day you'll also find inspired dishes such as plantains, beef bobotie, curry chicken with basmati rice, seafood stew and more!

Breakfast starts at $42 per person (ages 10 and up) and $27 per child (ages 3-9.) If you're on the Disney Dining Plan, it counts as 1 Table Service credit per person. Lunch and Dinner are known as "Donald's Dining Safari" and start at $55 per person (ages 10 and up) and $36 per child (ages 3-9) and also count as 1 Table Service credit per person on the Disney Dining Plan. As you can see, you’ll be getting more value out of your dining credits if you choose to eat here for lunch or dinner. If you don’t have the dining plan, opt for a breakfast reservation if you’re looking to stretch your spending!

As a side note, two years ago I had to make the lifestyle change to be gluten and dairy-free due to health issues. This particular visit to Tusker House was my first one back to the parks since the diet change, and the Chef was wonderful! He came to our table and spoke with me personally about my allergies and asked if I had any specific requests. I crossed my fingers and toes while asking if I could have a Mickey waffle made GF and DF? He looked at me and asked, “Is that all? We can make that happen!” and at that moment I felt on top of the world. I thought I couldn’t be happier, that was until I caught a glimpse of the Characters making their rounds. Even though we didn't have any children at our table and it was just us two adults, they made us feel like children again. They spent time engaging with us, making us laugh, and bringing pure joy to our souls. This is one of my favorite ways to spend time with the Characters!
